Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive policy research and analysis for state healthcare and social service programs
- Develop actionable policy recommendations through data modeling and stakeholder interviews
- Collaborate with legislative teams to draft and refine policy proposals
- Monitor federal/state legislation and regulatory changes affecting agency operations
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive briefings and public reports
- Manage cross-functional projects with community organizations and state agencies
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed policy initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Health, Social Work, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative data analysis (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Deep knowledge of Massachusetts state healthcare/human services systems
- Exceptional written communication with demonstrated report writing samples
- Experience with legislative processes and regulatory frameworks
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license (required for statewide travel)
