Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legislation and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for legislative committees
- Coordinate inter-agency task forces on cross-cutting initiatives
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using public datasets
- Present findings to senior officials and legislative stakeholders
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting state implementation
- Lead public engagement sessions for community feedback
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Expertise in Georgia state legislative processes
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Valid Georgia driver's license
