Responsibilities
- Analyze complex environmental policies and regulations to recommend evidence-based solutions
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives on climate resilience and clean energy transitions
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony for state leadership
- Collaborate with federal agencies and municipal partners on environmental compliance
- Manage stakeholder engagement with industry groups, NGOs, and community representatives
- Monitor emerging environmental technologies and their policy implications
- Oversee grant programs supporting environmental justice initiatives across Massachusetts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in environmental regulations and Massachusetts state policy frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated project management with complex multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Active Massachusetts driver's license
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
