Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex economic development trends to inform state policy decisions
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for legislative proposals
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to implement economic recovery initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for legislative committees
- Manage stakeholder engagement with private sector partners and community organizations
- Monitor federal funding opportunities and administer grant programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with policy impact modeling and economic forecasting
- Strong writing skills demonstrated through published policy briefs
- Valid Washington State driver's license
