Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state policies and legislative impacts using quantitative/qualitative methodologies
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for cabinet-level review
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies on cross-jurisdictional initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive briefing papers and legislative testimony
- Manage stakeholder engagement sessions with community leaders
- Oversee policy implementation monitoring and effectiveness reporting
- Lead interdepartmental task forces on emerging public issues
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years progressive policy analysis experience in government
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis (SPSS/R) and GIS mapping
- Expert knowledge of Arizona legislative process and state budget cycles
- Proven ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Active Arizona security clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
