Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate public health policies using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state health programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pandemic preparedness initiatives
- Present policy recommendations to senior leadership and legislative committees
- Manage federal grant compliance and reporting for health equity programs
- Lead stakeholder engagement with community organizations and healthcare providers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in health equity frameworks and social determinants of health
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Illinois residency required (5 ILCS 430/2-3)
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Knowledge of CMS and CDC regulatory requirements
