Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation strategies for cross-departmental initiatives
- Collaborate with legislators, stakeholders, and community leaders to align policy objectives
- Oversee program evaluation frameworks and performance metrics for state programs
- Lead interagency task forces on critical issues like healthcare, education, and economic development
- Present policy recommendations to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Manage grant applications and compliance for federally funded state programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and data visualization
- Proven track record of developing policy recommendations adopted by state agencies
- Advanced knowledge of Ohio state government operations and legislative processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Proficiency in policy analysis software (e.g., SAS, R, Stata) and GIS tools
- Valid Ohio driver's license and ability to travel statewide as needed
