Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze state-level policies addressing housing instability and healthcare access
- Collaborate with legislators and agency stakeholders on legislative initiatives
- Lead cross-departmental task forces for crisis response coordination
- Conduct quantitative research using state databases and public records
- Present findings to executive leadership and public committees
- Oversee implementation of federally funded programs
- Monitor policy outcomes and recommend adjustments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Social Work, or related field
- 5+ years experience in government or nonprofit policy development
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Knowledge of Colorado state statutes and federal regulations
- Experience with crisis management and rapid response protocols
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance within 30 days
- Valid Colorado driver's license
