Responsibilities
- Design and implement data-driven economic development strategies for Tennessee's 95 counties
- Analyze complex policy impacts using advanced statistical modeling and GIS mapping
- Collaborate with state legislators to craft legislation supporting business growth
- Lead interagency task forces on workforce development initiatives
- Prepare executive briefings and policy recommendations for Governor's office
- Manage $10M+ grant programs for rural revitalization projects
- Present findings to legislative committees and industry stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R/Stata) and GIS tools
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislation or regulatory frameworks
- Knowledge of Tennessee's economic landscape and incentive programs
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
