Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts across state agencies
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs for executive leadership review
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces on public sector initiatives
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research using state data systems
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Monitor federal compliance requirements for state programs
- Mentor junior analysts on policy development methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit sectors
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Ohio residency required at time of hire
- Valid driver's license for occasional travel
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Ohio Revised Code and administrative procedures
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
