Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy data and develop actionable recommendations for state programs

- Conduct field research and community engagement across Alameda County
- Monitor legislation and regulatory changes affecting program implementation
- Lead process improvement initiatives for government service delivery
- Mentor junior analysts on policy analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Stata, or Python)
- Expert knowledge of California state administrative procedures
- Proven track record of translating data into policy recommendations
- Strong project management with ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid California driver's license
