Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive transportation plans for urban corridors
- Analyze traffic data and conduct impact assessments for infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with local municipalities and federal agencies on grant compliance
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for public hearings and stakeholders
- Manage GIS mapping and modeling for transportation network optimization
- Ensure compliance with federal/state environmental regulations (NEPA, TCEQ)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of transportation planning experience with government agencies
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS) and traffic modeling tools (TransCAD)
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean record
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills for data interpretation
- Excellent written/verbal communication and public presentation abilities
- Knowledge of TxDOT policies and federal transportation regulations
