Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative impacts and draft policy recommendations for state agencies
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research on socioeconomic trends
- Develop implementation plans for new state regulations
- Coordinate with stakeholders including legislators and agency directors
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Manage policy review cycles and compliance tracking
- Mentor junior analysts on policy development processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislation or regulatory frameworks
- Strong understanding of Ohio state government operations
- Superior written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Professional certification (PPA, MPA) preferred
