Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive health policy recommendations through quantitative analysis and stakeholder engagement
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on Medicaid expansion and maternal health initiatives
- Prepare legislative briefings and testify before state congressional committees
- Manage $2M+ grant portfolios for community health intervention programs
- Oversee data visualization projects using Tableau and R for policy impact assessment
- Mentor junior analysts in public health regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sectors
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SAS, SPSS, Stata)
- Illinois residency required upon hire
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Proven track record of translating complex data into actionable policy
- Experience with CMS and CDC reporting protocols
