Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy data and draft actionable recommendations for state legislative initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement public health programs across Charlotte and California regions
- Manage stakeholder relationships with community leaders and state representatives
- Develop comprehensive reports on policy impacts using advanced data visualization tools
- Lead public outreach campaigns to gather constituent feedback on proposed regulations
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess implications for North Carolina programs
- Mentor junior analysts and oversee quality assurance of policy documentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python) and GIS mapping
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Experience with California state policy frameworks preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences
- Certified Public Manager (CPM) designation highly desirable
