Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations for state legislative initiatives
- Analyze complex datasets to assess program effectiveness and compliance
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces and stakeholder engagement
- Prepare executive briefings and legislative testimony documents
- Monitor federal regulatory changes impacting California programs
- Lead cross-functional project teams for policy implementation
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed legislation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in state/local government
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Expert knowledge of California legislative processes
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills
- Active California State eligibility (SROA list preferred)
- Valid California driver's license
