Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate complex policy proposals for state agencies using quantitative analysis
- Lead cross-functional task forces on urban development and infrastructure initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive legislative briefs and executive reports for senior leadership
- Monitor federal regulations and recommend state-level compliance strategies
- Present policy recommendations to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Manage $2M+ budget allocations for regional pilot programs
- Mentor junior analysts through our government leadership pipeline
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in state/local government
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS/R) and data visualization tools
- Proven track record of drafting successful legislation or executive orders
- Georgia residency required upon hire
- Valid Georgia driver's license for statewide travel
- Clear federal background check
- Certified Public Manager (CPM) designation preferred
