- Research and analyze complex policy issues affecting Milwaukee metropolitan area
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations with measurable outcomes
- Prepare detailed legislative briefings and testimony for state committees
- Coordinate inter-agency initiatives and stakeholder engagement
- Monitor implementation of existing policies and evaluate effectiveness
- Lead cross-functional teams on special legislative projects
- Present findings to legislative bodies and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Proficiency in policy impact modeling and economic analysis
- Demonstrated success in developing bipartisan policy solutions
- Knowledge of Wisconsin legislative processes and state agencies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines
