Responsibilities
- Research and analyze economic trends to inform state policy development
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation strategies
- Collaborate with local government officials on regional economic initiatives
- Manage stakeholder engagement with business leaders and community organizations
- Prepare legislative testimony and budget justifications for state oversight committees
- Monitor federal grant opportunities and manage compliance reporting
- Lead cross-functional projects on workforce development and infrastructure planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government sector
- Advanced proficiency in economic data analysis tools (Stata, R, Python)
- Proven track record in developing legislative proposals and policy frameworks
- Experience managing federal grant programs and compliance reporting
- Strong understanding of Missouri's economic landscape and regulatory environment
- Excellent written communication skills for policy documents and presentations
