Responsibilities
- Research and analyze state/local policy impacts using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Develop comprehensive legislative proposals and regulatory frameworks
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Coordinate inter-agency task forces for cross-functional initiatives
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting Kentucky communities
- Manage grant programs supporting local government initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping
- Proven track record of drafting successful legislation/regulations
- Kentucky residency required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Experience with Kentucky Legislative Research Commission processes
