Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory impacts
- Develop policy briefs for executive leadership and state legislature
- Coordinate cross-departmental task forces on emerging issues
- Present findings to legislative committees and public stakeholders
- Manage $500K+ grant programs for community initiatives
- Lead data-driven research using state analytics platforms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SPSS, Stata)
- NC legislative process expertise required
- Valid NC driver's license
- Superior written/verbal communication skills
