Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy analysis reports for state legislative initiatives
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using advanced statistical methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional government departments on policy implementation
- Present findings to high-level stakeholders and legislative committees
- Monitor emerging policy trends and recommend strategic adaptations
- Manage complex datasets using SAS, R, or Python
- Mentor junior analysts on research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SAS/R/Python)
- Proven experience with Kentucky state legislative processes
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
- Professional certification (e.g., PPFA) preferred
- US citizenship required
