Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state policies and legislation related to workforce development and social services
- Conduct rigorous research and data analysis to inform evidence-based policy recommendations
- Collaborate with legislative bodies, agency stakeholders, and community partners
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership
- Monitor implementation of new policies and evaluate their effectiveness
- Lead cross-functional initiatives addressing emerging workforce challenges
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Social Sciences, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and data analysis
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable policy recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive-level experience
- Knowledge of Ohio state government operations and legislative processes
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain required security clearance
