Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive policy research and impact assessments for economic development initiatives
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory changes affecting Tennessee's business climate
- Develop data-driven recommendations for state economic programs and funding allocations
- Collaborate with agency leadership on strategic planning and performance metrics
- Prepare executive reports and presentations for legislative committees and stakeholders
- Manage intergovernmental partnerships with federal agencies and local municipalities
- Lead cross-functional task forces on emerging economic challenges
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Deep knowledge of Tennessee's economic landscape and regulatory frameworks
- Proven track record of translating complex data into actionable policy recommendations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Experience with legislative processes and budget analysis methodologies
