Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory impacts
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for cabinet-level officials
- Lead cross-agency task forces on public health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive briefing materials for legislative hearings
- Manage stakeholder engagement with community organizations
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using government databases
- Oversee policy implementation performance metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative testimony
- Active Colorado State Government security clearance
- Experience with Colorado Open Records Act compliance
- Valid Colorado driver's license
