Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations addressing Seattle's urban development challenges
- Analyze legislative impacts and prepare comprehensive briefing documents for state officials
- Coordinate with federal, county, and city agencies to align policy objectives
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with community groups and industry partners
- Monitor implementation progress of existing policies and recommend adjustments
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for legislative committees
- Manage research projects using advanced data analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Proven track record of developing actionable policy recommendations
- Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Washington State residency required at time of hire
- Ability to obtain security clearance
