Responsibilities

- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations aligned with City Council priorities
- Prepare detailed reports, memoranda, and presentations for executive leadership
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions with community groups and government agencies
- Monitor federal/state regulations and assess local policy implications
- Lead cross-functional task forces on complex municipal projects
- Manage policy implementation timelines and impact assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and data visualization
- Proficiency in policy development frameworks and legislative processes
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with executive-level experience
- Strong project management abilities with demonstrated stakeholder collaboration
- Knowledge of Chicago's municipal structure and community landscape
