Responsibilities
- Analyze federal/state/local legislation impacts and recommend policy adjustments
- Research demographic/economic data to inform strategic planning
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces on community initiatives
- Manage grant compliance and reporting processes
- Present findings to elected officials and public stakeholders
- Oversee policy implementation and effectiveness evaluations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years government policy analysis experience at local/state/federal level
- Expertise in California state regulations and Fresno County governance
- Advanced data analysis skills with SPSS/R/Excel
- Proven track record of successful policy implementation
- Strong written communication for legislative drafting
- Valid California driver's license
- Clearances for sensitive government data access
