Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on federal, state, and local policies affecting Raleigh residents

- Coordinate interdepartmental projects to ensure policy implementation alignment
- Monitor legislative changes and assess potential impacts on municipal operations
- Engage with community groups to gather input and address constituent concerns
- Manage policy implementation timelines and evaluate program effectiveness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government policy analysis or public sector consulting
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Deep understanding of federal/state/local government structures and processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with policy stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (required for field visits)
- US citizenship (required for federal compliance)
