Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate complex state policies using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Analyze legislative impacts and recommend evidence-based solutions to senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives across state agencies
- Present policy recommendations to legislative committees and executive stakeholders
- Monitor emerging policy trends and regulatory changes affecting Pennsylvania residents
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements
- Mentor junior analysts and oversee research workflows
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (Bachelor's with 5+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 3 years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative briefs and policy white papers
- Strong understanding of Pennsylvania state government structure and processes
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- U.S. citizenship and Pennsylvania residency required
