Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive policy research and impact assessments
- Develop legislative proposals and regulatory frameworks
- Analyze complex datasets using statistical software (R, Python, or Stata)
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and public forums
- Prepare executive briefings and policy recommendations
- Monitor federal, state, and local legislation affecting NYC
- Manage inter-agency task forces and cross-functional projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
- Deep knowledge of NYC's governmental structure and operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with budget analysis and fiscal forecasting
- Valid New York State driver's license
