Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulations to develop actionable policy recommendations
- Collaborate with agency directors and legislators on strategic initiatives
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using data visualization tools
- Manage stakeholder engagement across government and private sectors
- Present findings to executive leadership and public committees
- Oversee policy implementation and impact assessment projects
- Mentor junior analysts and lead cross-functional task forces
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in government policy analysis or legislative affairs
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, Stata)
- Expertise in Ohio state government operations and budget processes
- Strong written/verbal communication with executive presentation experience
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
- Valid Ohio driver's license for occasional statewide travel
