Responsibilities
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations for city council initiatives
- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory compliance requirements
- Coordinate cross-departmental stakeholder engagement processes
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and implementation strategies
- Monitor emerging trends in urban governance and public administration
- Lead public forums and community outreach programs
- Manage policy research budgets and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government or public policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS/R)
- Proven track record in stakeholder collaboration
- Deep understanding of Washington State regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Washington State driver's license
