Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal policy frameworks aligned with state/local government requirements
- Analyze complex cross-jurisdictional data sets to inform strategic recommendations
- Coordinate with DHS, CA State agencies, and San Diego County officials
- Lead intergovernmental task forces on emergency response protocols
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs for congressional stakeholders
- Manage compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, ADA)
- Mentor junior analysts on government operations best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years federal government policy experience
- Active Secret security clearance
- Proven track record in intergovernmental collaboration
- Expertise in quantitative policy analysis methodologies
- Knowledge of CA state regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in government budgeting processes
- Strong writing skills for policy documents and congressional testimony
