Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legislation and draft policy recommendations for City Council review
- Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives on housing, transportation, and climate action
- Lead community engagement sessions and stakeholder workshops
- Prepare comprehensive budgetary impact assessments for proposed policies
- Collaborate with federal/state agencies on grant compliance and reporting
- Maintain accurate policy databases and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government/public sector experience
- Expertise in quantitative policy analysis and data visualization tools
- Valid Oregon driver's license (may require travel to state facilities)
