Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory impacts using quantitative and qualitative methods
- Develop actionable policy recommendations for Governor's Office and agency leadership
- Lead cross-functional stakeholder engagement with community partners and industry groups
- Manage $1M+ research budgets and oversee vendor contract compliance
- Present findings to legislative committees and prepare executive briefings
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess implications for Georgia's programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software
- Proven track record of drafting successful legislation or executive orders
- Active Georgia Security Clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Experience managing interagency task forces and public-private partnerships
