Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive policy frameworks for border security initiatives
- Analyze complex datasets to identify emerging public safety trends and threats
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies on joint security protocols
- Prepare detailed policy briefings for senior leadership and legislative bodies
- Oversee community engagement programs to enhance public-private partnerships
- Manage grant-funded projects related to emergency preparedness and response
- Conduct legislative impact assessments for proposed security legislation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative data analysis and reporting tools
- Proven track record of successful inter-agency collaboration
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Proficiency in Spanish (written and verbal) preferred
- Experience with grant management and compliance requirements
