Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and statistical modeling to evaluate program performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership and legislative bodies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor state government initiatives.
- Ensure strict compliance with state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Lead stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and communicate complex information clearly.
- Research best practices in public administration to recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government, public policy, or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into actionable insights.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is highly desirable.
- Candidate must be eligible for State of Texas employment and pass a background check.
