Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the lifecycle of municipal grant applications, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects to streamline government service delivery and improve community outreach.
- Anze and interpret complex public policy data to support decision-making for senior leadership.
- Act as the primary liaison between government agencies, non-profit organizations, and the local community.
- Develop and maintain detailed reports on program performance metrics and budget utilization.
- Facilitate public hearings and town hall meetings, ensuring transparent communication with constituents.
- Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal compliance standards in all program operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public sector project management or government relations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing budgets and grants.
- Strong knowledge of Virginia state government processes and the VRS pension system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government database management software.
