Responsibilities
- Develop and implement state-level policies affecting Dallas County residents
- Manage inter-agency projects with $5M+ budgets
- Analyze legislative impacts and recommend compliance strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals
- Present findings to state legislative committees
- Oversee program evaluation and continuous improvement
- Ensure adherence to Texas Administrative Code standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years government/public sector experience
- Texas State Government certification or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of Texas legislative processes
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Strong project management credentials (PMP or equivalent)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
