Responsibilities
- Oversee emergency health response operations for Louisville metropolitan area
- Develop and implement public health policy strategies aligned with state directives
- Manage cross-functional teams including epidemiologists and health educators
- Coordinate with local, state, and federal health agencies during crisis situations
- Analyze health data to inform evidence-based decision making
- Lead community outreach initiatives for vaccine programs and health education
- Manage departmental budget and resource allocation for health initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in public health program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Experience with emergency response protocols and crisis management
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams during high-pressure situations
- Excellent analytical skills with health data interpretation experience
- Kentucky state residency required upon hire
