Responsibilities
- Analyze complex epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Develop data-driven public health policy recommendations for regional implementation
- Coordinate with local health departments and community stakeholders on intervention programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state legislature and executive leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects related to disease prevention and health equity
- Lead community outreach initiatives to improve health literacy
- Maintain compliance with federal/state public health regulations (HIPAA, FERPA)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Proven experience with health data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of Colorado public health systems and regulations
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) preferred
