Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive emergency response plans for public health incidents
- Coordinate with local agencies, hospitals, and community organizations during crisis events
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis for Arlington's population
- Lead public awareness campaigns on emergency preparedness and health safety protocols
- Manage data collection and reporting for state and federal compliance
- Train emergency response teams and community volunteers
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation during declared emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in public health or emergency response coordination
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher
- Strong knowledge of Texas emergency management frameworks and regulations
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to manage diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and emergency management software
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel within Arlington metro area
