Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies to address community health disparities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies on health emergency preparedness
- Manage grant-funded programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct community health assessments and present findings to stakeholders
- Supervise junior staff and coordinate cross-departmental health initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports for public health policy recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health experience in government or non-profit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential preferred
- Demonstrated experience with grant management and reporting
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and public health confidentiality laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
