Responsibilities
- Analyze complex health data trends to identify emerging public health threats and inform strategic interventions
- Develop and implement community health assessment programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Coordinate inter-agency emergency response initiatives during public health crises
- Create comprehensive health education materials and outreach campaigns for county residents
- Lead grant writing processes to secure federal and state funding for public health programs
- Maintain compliance with NC Department of Health regulations and CDC guidelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis or program management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping tools
- Valid North Carolina Public Health Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional health initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Experience with grant reporting and budget management for health programs
