Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health intervention programs
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and threats
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to develop culturally responsive health strategies
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ annually
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health authorities
- Lead cross-functional teams in emergency response planning
- Develop health education materials for diverse populations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish required
- Experience with CDC guidelines and grant reporting
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
- Knowledge of local health disparities in border communities
