Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health datasets to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for state emergency response teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments on COVID-19 and other outbreak response
- Design and implement data quality assurance protocols for critical health metrics
- Present findings to senior leadership and public health stakeholders
- Lead training sessions on public health data visualization tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, Data Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in health data analysis with government/public sector
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, R, and Tableau
- Certification in Public Health Informatics (CPHI) preferred
- Experience with CDC and MN DHS data systems
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and data privacy regulations
- Ability to work under pressure during public health emergencies
