Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive health policy recommendations using epidemiological data and community input
- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory changes affecting public health initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement health equity programs
- Present findings to Metro Council and community stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects related to chronic disease prevention
- Maintain compliance with CDC and Tennessee Department of Health standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit setting
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated success in health equity initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with budget development and grant management
- Tennessee residency required (or willingness to relocate)
