Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health intervention strategies for underserved communities
- Lead multi-agency emergency response coordination during public health crises
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify disease trends and recommend mitigation measures
- Design community outreach programs targeting vulnerable populations (seniors, low-income families)
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve vaccination access and health equity
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ annually
- Train local health department staff on new protocols and technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proven crisis management experience with government agencies
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish required
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Familiarity with HIPAA and CDC guidelines
