Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Lead emergency response operations during public health crises including disease outbreaks and natural disasters
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and recommend targeted interventions
- Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, and government agencies to enhance health outcomes
- Develop health education materials and deliver presentations to diverse audiences
- Oversee grant compliance, budget management, and program evaluation
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate volunteer programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive public health experience with program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Experience with emergency preparedness and response protocols
- Advanced data analysis skills using SPSS, SAS, or R
- Excellent written communication with grant writing experience
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
